Clinical Nurse – Joint and Spine (Day Shift) at Holy Cross Health. Join our 14-bed Joint and Spine Unit, designated a Center of Excellence by The Joint Commission since 2015, focusing on orthopedic and neurological procedures involving joints and the spine. As a Registered Nurse, you will manage complex post-operative care, promote early mobility, deliver effective pain management, and educate patients for a safe recovery.
What You Will Do
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team Educate post-surgical Joint & Spine patients Interface regularly with OT/PT/Case Management to enhance the patient experience and support admission/discharge/transfer processes Collaborate with patients in the proper management of pain
Minimum Qualifications
Two years of experience in an acute care setting Graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred, ASN required Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse BLS certification; additional life support training as applicable to unit requirements Professional specialty certifications may be required in accordance with departmental standards or role requirements

Deliver specialized care for post-operative orthopedic and spine surgery patients Emphasis on early ambulation, pain control, and discharge readiness Collaborate with physical therapists, case managers, and providers Develop strong clinical skills in neuro-orthopedic nursing

Pay Range
$38.92 - $55.68 hourly. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under FLSA are paid at the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may vary within location.
