Staff Pharmacist
— Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital, Chicago, Illinois As a PRN, nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLC Staff Pharmacist, you will fill orders with accuracy; check prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy. This position will rotate between Garfield Park, Hartgrove and Riveredge hospital. Pay and Schedule
Pay Range:
$70-$72 hr Schedule:
This position will be as needed, and may include some on call when the pharmacy is closed. The position will be mostly weekends with some PTO coverage during the week. About the Facility
Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital provides acute inpatient and partial hospitalization programs for pediatric children ages 3 to 11 and adolescent children ages 12 to 17. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC. Required Qualifications
BS or PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy Illinois Pharmacist licensure in good standing Recent work experience as a Pharmacist (in a behavioral health setting preferred) Ability to solve problems, establish trust and credibility Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, respond to client concerns, and work cooperatively with other staff Hospital Requirements
TB Skin Test (PPD) — Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months MMR or a Blood Titer proving immunity Varicella — two documented doses or a Blood Titer proving immunity HepB Series (or declination) Flu — Influenza vaccine for hire between Oct 1 and Apr 30 COVID Vaccine — Full Benefits
