full-time Hospitalist

and a

full or part-time Nocturnist . Nocturnist roles require working overnight shifts, and candidates must be comfortable with nocturnal schedules and delivering exceptional nighttime patient care. People First in Cedar Rapids

Local Team Collaboration: Join our close-knit team of 14 physicians and 8 advanced practice providers at Mercy Medical Center. Trusted partners since 2015, involved in hospital-wide initiatives. Collaborate closely with nurses and specialists to prioritize patient care. Qualifications

Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine. All experience levels encouraged to apply. We sponsor H1B visa candidates with in-house support; all filing fees covered by Sound. Currently, only H1B visa candidates considered; Iowa has filled its Conrad 30 J1 Waiver positions for 2025. Scheduling and Responsibilities

Team-based scheduling with most shifts during the day; rotation includes mid-shifts and minimal night shifts. Flexibility in scheduling supported. Key responsibilities include managing cases of varying acuity, responding to codes, and participating in team collaborations. Procedural skills are a plus but not required.
