The University of Iowa Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Division of Hematology, Oncology and Blood & Marrow Transplantation are seeking a BC/BE medical oncologist for a growing practice at University of Iowa Health Care Cancer Services - Quad Cities in Bettendorf, IA. The position will be at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Full Professor, on the tenure or clinical (non-tenure) track, depending on qualifications. Salary is based on experience and qualifications. University of Iowa Health Care Cancer Services-Quad Cities in Bettendorf offers the same high-quality cancer care that patients receive at Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center in Iowa City. Patients can stay near home while receiving the benefits of the only cancer center in Iowa designated by the National Cancer Institute as a comprehensive cancer center. Our expert cancer treatment includes: Infusion therapy suite for chemotherapy Access to more than 300 clinical trials of promising new cancer therapies Personalized treatment plans based on your tumor's DNA The clinic is staffed by expert hematologist-oncologists and nurses who are part of the UI Health Care Iowa Oncology Network. Care includes quick access to the full expertise of teams of Holden cancer doctors and researchers who only treat patients with your type of cancer. They're experts in the latest treatments and techniques, like immunotherapy and molecular oncology. UI Health Care Cancer Services - Quad Cities is an outpatient department of University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics - your Quad Cities connection to patient care and research expertise of the only comprehensive academic medical center in Iowa. Note: For appointment to the clinical or tenure track, successful candidates will be required to self-disclose any misconduct history or pending research misconduct investigation including but not limited to sexual misconduct in prior employment and provide a related release. They will also be subject to a criminal background and credential check. Education Requirements
Candidates must have an MD degree or equivalent. Completion of an ACGME-accredited Residency Program is required. Required Qualifications
