About The Position
A Trauma Center in Connecticut is seeking a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician for a 120-day locum tenens assignment starting 09/01/2025. The ideal candidate will work 12-hour shifts from 8 AM to 8 PM in an 8-bed pediatric emergency care area. Provide high-quality emergency care to pediatric patients in a Trauma Center Manage a wide range of pediatric emergencies, including trauma cases Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Utilize Cerner and Epic electronic health record systems for documentation Maintain a high standard of patient care and safety Adapt to the fast-paced environment of a pediatric emergency department Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members Adhere to hospital policies and procedures Participate in quality improvement initiatives as needed Additional Information
