Job Overview Inpatient Psychiatrist, Addictions, COM, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. The final rank and title will be commensurate with the experience and professional accomplishments of the selected applicant. Medical Director and leadership opportunities may be available for qualified candidates. Those with experience in electroconvulsive therapy are encouraged to apply.

Essential Functions

Direct patient care in an inpatient setting.

Teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.

Opportunity for administrative and leadership roles, participation in quality improvement, peer supervision, and formal mentorship.

Opportunities for clinical research at various UC Health facilities, hospitals, and other local health care systems.

Minimum Requirements Prior to effective date of appointment, must have all of the following:

MD/DO or equivalent degree.

Ohio Medical License.

Completion of a 4-year Psychiatry residency.

Board eligible/board certified in General Psychiatry.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment Office environment; no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
