PracticeLink . The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) faculty member in Little Rock. The role involves diagnosing and treating high-risk pregnancies and their unborn babies, with responsibilities including clinical duties, teaching MFM fellows, OB-GYN residents, and medical students. The candidate will collaborate with a team of specialists and focus on providing excellent patient care and reducing health disparities in Arkansas. Additional research and institutional opportunities may be available based on the candidate's experience and interests. The appointment will be in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology within the College of Medicine, with rank based on experience. Role & Responsibilities

Clinical Service

Inpatient high-risk obstetrical antepartum and postpartum care Outpatient high-risk obstetrical and fetal ultrasound clinics Labor and Delivery unit Surgical obstetrics, including Placenta Accreta Spectrum services Fetal interventions Telemedicine consultations for MFM Education and Research

Teaching at bedside and through lectures Developing clinical and educational guidelines, including for the ANGELS program Mentoring MFM fellows Engaging in clinical research and publishing Candidate Qualifications

MD or DO degree Board certified or eligible in Arkansas Completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine from accredited programs About the Department

The Department offers comprehensive women's health services, including a level 3B nursery, telehealth programs like ANGELS, and a strong focus on education with a longstanding ACGME-accredited residency and a Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship. Faculty collaborate closely with neonatologists and provide services across multiple sites, emphasizing training and research to improve women's health in Arkansas.
