Pediatrix is seeking a full-time Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team of Neonatologists and NNPs in Macon, GA. Our practice provides neonatology services at Navicent Hospital. We are expanding our team by hiring a pediatric hospitalist to support Level II infants in our Level III NICU. Assist the Level III NICU team with stable babies progressing towards discharge Communicate with general pediatricians and subspecialists as needed Conduct daily rounds from 8am-5pm, no call required Perform circumcisions Manage babies requiring higher levels of care by the NICU team Navicent is a Level-I trauma center and regional perinatal/neonatal center in Georgia Opened a new 50,000 sq ft neonatal ICU at Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital in 2019 About the Area
Macon is centrally located in Georgia, blending history with progressive growth. Features a university, cultural activities, D1 sports, and a vibrant downtown. Rich musical heritage, historic architecture, and Southern lifestyle. Cost of living is lower than Atlanta, with easy access to the airport and Atlanta. Qualifications
