Overview
RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon for the northern region of New Jersey. This opportunity is based at Jersey City Medical Center, located at 355 Grand Street, Jersey City, NJ 07302.
Responsibilities
Practice within the Orthopedic department at Jersey City Medical Center and participate in trainee education.
Assist with growing the Department of Orthopedics and the Orthopedic Institute.
The Orthopedic Institute performs the full spectrum of orthopedic procedures including total joint replacements, trauma/reconstruction surgery, and sports medicine injuries.
Qualifications
BC/BE in Orthopedic Surgery
NJ licensed or eligible for licensure
Interest in clinical research
Prior teaching experience is preferred

Opportunity to grow the Department of Orthopedics
Salary and compensation: The anticipated salary range for this position is $600,000 to $930,000 per year. Current trainees can earn up to $24,000 with the fellowship stipend program if they join RWJBH during the final year of fellowship.
