Overview The Driscoll Health System in Corpus Christi, Texas is recruiting a Board certified / Board Eligible Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist. Qualified candidates will work in a team of 4 Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologists. The Heart Center at Driscoll Children\'s Hospital is under rapid expansion with construction of state-of-the-art operating rooms, a cardiac catheterization suite, and a 34-bed cardiovascular intensive care unit. The ideal applicant, MD/DO, will have completed a Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship in an ACGME-accredited program and must be ABA board certified. The pediatric cardiovascular anesthesia division covers all congenital cardiac patients for cardiac-based procedures in the OR and in the cardiac catheterization lab, and most congenital cardiac patients when they present for non-cardiac surgery. Responsibilities

Provide pediatric cardiac anesthesia for congenital cardiac procedures in the operating room and cardiac catheterization lab as part of a team of Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologists.

Support coverage of congenital cardiac patients when they present for non-cardiac surgery.

Collaborate within the Heart Center\'s expanding facilities and services.

Qualifications

MD or DO with Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship from an ACGME-accredited program.
