Overview
The Driscoll Health System in Corpus Christi, Texas is recruiting a Board certified / Board Eligible Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist. Qualified candidates will work in a team of 4 Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologists. The Heart Center at Driscoll Children\'s Hospital is under rapid expansion with construction of state-of-the-art operating rooms, a cardiac catheterization suite, and a 34-bed cardiovascular intensive care unit. The ideal applicant, MD/DO, will have completed a Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship in an ACGME-accredited program and must be ABA board certified. The pediatric cardiovascular anesthesia division covers all congenital cardiac patients for cardiac-based procedures in the OR and in the cardiac catheterization lab, and most congenital cardiac patients when they present for non-cardiac surgery. Responsibilities
Provide pediatric cardiac anesthesia for congenital cardiac procedures in the operating room and cardiac catheterization lab as part of a team of Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologists.
Support coverage of congenital cardiac patients when they present for non-cardiac surgery.
Collaborate within the Heart Center\'s expanding facilities and services.
Participate in a comprehensive compensation package including medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, retirement plans, paid vacation and holidays, paid CME, and malpractice insurance.
Qualifications
MD or DO with Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship from an ACGME-accredited program.
ABA board certified or board eligible.
