The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and UMass Memorial Medical Center seeks a (Board Certified/Board Eligible) Non-Invasive Cardiologist with expertise in Advanced Imaging. This full-time role offers the chance to deliver exceptional outpatient care, utilizing advanced imaging technologies to diagnose and treat various cardiovascular conditions. Responsibilities include inpatient service and participation in weekend and night call rotations. Candidates with interest in cardiac imaging areas such as structural heart, cardiac MRI, or CT are encouraged to apply and will receive support to develop their specialization. Key Responsibilities:
Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiovascular imaging studies, including echocardiography, cardiac MRI, CT angiography, and stress testing. Manage hospitalized patients with acute cardiovascular conditions, including heart failure, acute coronary syndromes, and arrhythmias. Participate in weekend and night call rotations to respond to emergent cardiology needs. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care. Use advanced imaging to guide treatment, assess risks, and plan interventions. Supervise and teach cardiology fellows, residents, and students, focusing on advanced imaging techniques. Engage in academic activities such as case discussions, conferences, and lectures.
