Chief of our Division of Gastroenterology . Albany Medical College is part of the Albany Med Health System, which serves as the only academic health sciences center and Level 1 trauma center in northeastern New York. As Chief of the Division of Gastroenterology, you will have the opportunity to rebuild the department as it continues to provide comprehensive care throughout the Capital Region through the Digestive Disease Center. The

Gastroenterology division

directs a Fellowship training program (of 9 fellows) and has unique faculty expertise in: Hepatology Motility disorders Inflammatory bowel disease Pancreaticobiliary disease Advanced endoscopy As

Chief , you will have the opportunity to: Oversee and manage clinical operations and the education of fellows in a high demand gastroenterology program Administer care to a diverse and complicated disease population of patients Work alongside experienced physicians and advanced practice providers to deliver top quality care Qualifications include : MD or DO with board certification in Gastroenterology Interest or experience in developing expertise in a clinical subspecialty Experience or interest in leadership, education and program development. Eligible for academic appointment at associate professor or professor level Clinical research is highly desired Compensation and Professional Development: Competitive compensation package, including salary, comprehensive benefits, and retirement options. Salary range (as required in New York State):
