Pediatric Hospitalist Physician position in San Jose, CA. The physician will work in a clinical setting providing care to a diverse pediatric population, including normal newborn exams and ER consults. Requires at least one year of inpatient hospitalist experience. Schedule consists of ten 24-hour shifts per month with strong pediatric subspecialty support. Clinical Role
Seeking a Board Eligible / Board Certified Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team of hospitalists in San Jose, CA. Ranked one of the Top 5 Happiest Cities and Best Places to Live for Quality of Life in the US. At least 1 year of current inpatient Hospitalist work experience is required. Must be able to provide at interview the last 12 months\' worth of case logs from a hospital setting. Responsibilities include seeing patients on the pediatric floor, normal newborn exams and ER consults. Good pediatric subspecialty support. NICU is covered by our affiliated group of neonatologists. Diverse patient population. Schedule is ten 24-hour shifts per month, with call from home. Ideal candidate is a team player, will get along well with people and will hold an active California license. This is a full-time, permanent position that may require residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required. To be discussed at interview. Not open to commuters and / or those looking for secondary employment. Will not accept candidates with lapsed Board Certification who need to obtain it again.
