Overview
The Cardiology Physician - Electrophysiology is a member of the healthcare team who works in collaboration with other staff to provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients. The physician’s scope of practice is defined through the health system’s credentialing and privileging committee. The physician supports objectives, budget, and performance metrics at the individual level and contributes to quality control standards, risk management, and compliance programs. The role focuses on delivering quality clinical care to patients who have chosen VHC Health in a timely manner to meet patient needs. Responsibilities
Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care in electrophysiology and related cardiology services. Participate in implementation of quality control standards, risk management, and compliance programs at the individual level. Deliver timely, high-quality clinical care to patients in accordance with credentialing, privileging, and system policies. Qualifications
Education:
Doctorate from an accredited medical school is required. Experience:
One year of medical/surgical experience is required. Certifications/Licensure:
Licensed to Practice Medicine by the Virginia Department of Health Professions is required. Awards & Recognition
