Oregon Health & Science University is seeking a Clinical Registered Nurse (RN) in the Family Medicine at South Waterfront clinic. The clinic provides primary care and specialty services for diverse patients, including maternity care, women\'s health, behavioral health, transgender care, pediatrics, travel immunizations, and preventive care. Typical patient volume is 200–275 per day across 40+ providers and 60+ staff. Responsibilities
Provide phone triage and manage nurse visit schedules Anticipate patient needs and deliver clinical support within ambulatory workflows Advocate for patients and families; ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective care Act as liaison between referral and clinic providers Participate in interdisciplinary teams and clinic operations aligned with position descriptions May include active care coordination and management of a high-risk ambulatory patient panel Required Qualifications
2 years of RN experience within the last 5 years Associate or Bachelor\'s Degree in Nursing from a program accredited by CCNE, ACEN, or CNEA Associates Degree Nurses must enroll in BSN program within 3 years of hire and complete within 5 years of hire Current unencumbered Oregon RN License Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (must not expire during orientation) Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation Preferred Qualifications
Current clinical nurse experience in an ambulatory care setting including telephone triage Experience working in a Primary Care setting within the last three years Nursing professional certification in Ambulatory Nursing All are welcome
