Accommodating more than 250,000 outpatient visits and more than 15,000 inpatient admissions annually. Opportunity Details :
Attend to dermatology outpatient clinic - both direct patient panel and supervision of resident clinics
Educate, supervise and mentor Dermatology residents
Provide clinical guidance and direction to residents, medical students and other members of the healthcare team as needed
Performs other administrative, professional, consultative duties as needed by the Department Chairperson
Qualifications
Successful completion of an accredited residency program in Dermatology
Board certification in Dermatology or the ability to become board certified within 5 years of hire
Possession of a valid license to practice medicine in New York State
Possession of a valid DEA license
Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal skills
Experience working with an under-served patient population preferred
Wages and Benefits
Annual Base Salary: $335,000
Based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional / per diem hours
The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $408,500
Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets
401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required
