Overview

The BMT & CT Medical Director will lead all aspects of the Cellular Therapies and Bone Marrow Transplant (CAR T & BMT) program, including education, research, accreditation, and clinical programming. The BMT Director will serve as the Medical Director for adult hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy in accordance with FACT-JACIE Standards and other state and federal regulations. The BMT & CT Medical Director will provide leadership for administrative and clinical operations, ensuring program compliance with Foundation for Accreditation of Cellular Therapies (FACT) standards and other regulations/policies. Oversee operations of all aspects of the BMT and Cellular Therapies Program, including recruitment and expansion of the team and capacity Provide leadership to staff on technical procedures, quality processes, and cGMP cell and tissue manufacturing Collaborate with Hematology-Oncology Medical Directors, Regenerative Medicine Program Director, Quality Directors, and other AHCI/Allina Health leaders Serve as Program Director for hematopoietic cellular therapy in accordance with FACT-JACIE Standards Manage finances, human resources, process development/improvement, and program accreditation Ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting bodies (FDA, FACT, CIBMTR, AABB) Participate in external scientific and professional committees to advance the program's reputation Ensure adequate space, capital, and human resources for research and manufacturing needs Participate in multidisciplinary team care and clinical research within AHCI and Allina Health Contribute to cellular therapy literature via peer-reviewed publications Teach fellows, residents, and medical/graduate students Other related duties as assigned Qualifications

BE/BC in Hematology with ABMS or AOA MD, DO, or foreign equivalency ACGME Hematology/Oncology fellowship training 5+ years of relevant experience in clinical use of cellular therapy products Expertise in development of clinical stem cell transplant/cellular therapy products (ideal) 5+ years of autologous and allogeneic transplant experience Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain) Ability to obtain/maintain MN DEA certification and NPI Meet criteria for credentialing and hospital privileges Physical demands

Medium work: lifting up to 32 lbs occasionally and up to 25 lbs frequently (Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy). Benefits and additional program strengths
