John George Psychiatric Hospital . John George is conveniently located in the San Francisco Bay Area, just south of Oakland. San Francisco is just a short drive away. The department’s mission is to provide the best comprehensive psychiatric and behavioral health services to
adults
with mental illness in Alameda County. Psychiatrist Salary Day 8-hour shifts MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Required Education : Graduate of an accredited school of medicine or osteopathic medicine with an MD or DO. Required Experience : Prior experience in community mental health services systems. Required Licenses/Certifications : Valid CA License to practice Medicine and Certification in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. ***Other available psychiatry positions at JGPH (please search postings on this site for ‘John George Psychiatric Hospital’): Full-time, part-time, and SAN positions for Inpatient services. SAN positions for weekend/holiday coverage on inpatient and psychiatric emergency services (PES). SAN positions for night coverage in Psychiatric Emergency Services (PES). *Current Psychiatry residents enrolled in an ACGME-accredited residency program can apply for SAN positions.
