Southern Medical Group, P.A. (SMG), Tallahassee, FL, is seeking an Electrophysiology Cardiologist to join our well-established Cardiology Division. This position supports increasing patient volumes. Candidates must be Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Electrophysiology. Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive cardiovascular services, including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, cardiac surgery, TAVR, PVI ablations, ICD and CRT-D implantations, non-invasive testing, cardiac rehabilitation, arrhythmia management with left atrial appendage occlusion (Watchman), and advanced cardiac imaging. SMG maintains a strong patient base as the premier Cardiac Center in North Florida, with opportunities to participate in clinical trials, join a research institute, and become a partner in the practice. Our practice operates exclusively at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, which features two full-service EP Labs, with a third planned. Benefits and Practice Details
Two-Year Partnership Tract 1:7 Weekend Call (General Cardiology) 1:30 Night Call (General Cardiology) Top Tier Production Home to 80 Watchman Implants Last Year Our current team includes five Interventional Cardiologists, eight Non-invasive/Imaging Cardiologists, three Electrophysiologists, and eleven Internal Medicine/Family Medicine physicians. Our physicians serve as faculty at Florida State University College of Medicine and as preceptors for residency programs.
