Job Summary:
As a Gastroenterologist with Allina, you will balance procedural and clinical responsibilities with administrative duties within a 36-hour workweek.
Key Position Details:
Our expanding group of five gastroenterologists has openings in Buffalo, Cambridge, or Hastings, Minnesota, utilizing five procedure centers across the metro.
In seeing your patients at an Allina location, you will have:
Procedure schedule from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM, then from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM.
Each week includes 14+ clinic hours and 20+ endoscopy hours.
Case load of up to 14 patients on clinical days, scheduled at half-hour intervals.
Flexibility for less than 1.0 FTE.
Public Service Loan Forgiveness program access and Student Loan Coaching services through EdAssist.

Job Description:
Principal Responsibilities
Provide direct care for patients needing gastroenterology services.
Review medical histories, gather, prioritize, and synthesize patient data.
Care may be provided in an ambulatory clinic, inpatient, or outpatient hospital setting.
Participate in on-call rotations as needed.
Job Requirements:
Doctoral or equivalent degree in Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine from an approved school.
Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited Residency in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics.
Fellowship training in Gastroenterology or Pediatric Gastroenterology.
At least 2 years of experience in the specialty.
Licensed Physician in Minnesota upon hire.
Board Certification or Eligibility in Gastroenterology or Pediatric Gastroenterology.
ACLS-BLS Tier 3 certification within 180 days.
DEA Certificate and Prescription Monitoring Program compliance upon hire.
Physical Requirements: Medium Work: lifting up to 32 lbs occasionally, up to 25 lbs frequently.
Pay Range: $500,000 to $630,000 annually, depending on experience and other factors.
