Overview
Kelsey-Seybold Clinic is currently seeking a Non-Interventional Physiatrist to join our growing Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation department. The ideal candidate will diagnose and treat a wide array of medical conditions, including:
Post-stroke
Amputees
Spinal Care
Traumatic Brain Injuries
Musculoskeletal disorders
Peripheral Neuropathies: Hand or feet numbness
Spasticity care: non-pump management
Physical Debility
Movement disorders
Electrodiagnostic Medicine
Spinal Cord Injuries
Neuromuscular disorders (after neurological diagnosis)
Cancer Debility
In this role, you will collaborate closely with other physiatrists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons, chiropractors, pain medicine specialists, and addiction medicine specialists. Learn the Kelsey-Seybold method of evidence-based healthcare, while building your practice that focuses on non-operative treatment to achieve optimal outcomes for each patient.
Responsibilities Contribute to patient care within a multi-specialty clinic environment, focusing on non-operative treatment approaches to improve patient outcomes. Collaborate with a diverse team of specialists and participate in care coordination across disciplines.
Required Qualifications
Medical Degree (MD, DO)
Accredited Residency training
Licensed or willing to be licensed in the State of Texas
Board Certified or Board Eligible
Driver's License and access to a reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency
Compensation and Benefits Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $229,500 to $397,000. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. In addition to salary, benefits include a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (eligibility applies).
