Interventional Cardiologist

to join our growing team in the Knight Cardiovascular Institute dedicated to advancing clinical excellence and groundbreaking research. Position Highlights

The faculty member will participate in: Clinical Care : Work clinically as an interventional cardiologist, working an average of two (2) days a week in the cardiac catheterization laboratory, with a focus on complex coronary interventions (chronic total occlusion and high-risk PCI). Academic Environment : Contribute to our mission through teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to contribute to ongoing advancements in endocrine disorders research and care. The Interventional Cardiologist will provide exceptional patient care to the adult patient population. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans and contribute to ongoing advancements in cardiology. MD/DO required Unrestricted Oregon medical license and/or ability to obtain Board eligible or Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology Demonstrated commitment to educational excellence in a clinical setting DEA certification ACLS and BCLS certifications Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in an academic health facility Expertise in complex coronary and structural heart disease procedures Capable in valvuloplasty, percutaneous valve implantation, ASD/PFO, perivalvular leak, post-MI VSD closures, alcohol septal ablation, and implantation of percutaneous ventricular assist devices Individuals of diverse backgrounds and experiences are highly encouraged to apply
