The Department of Medicine, Section of Cardiology, is seeking a Cardiologist with fellowship training in advanced cardiovascular imaging for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor (non-tenure, clinical track). We seek a compassionate and dedicated Cardiologist to join our healthcare team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to provide advanced cardiac imaging services and contribute to the department's academic mission through teaching and research. The ideal candidate will have experience in multimodality imaging, including echocardiography, cardiac MRI, cardiac CT, and nuclear cardiology, and a passion for advancing cardiovascular imaging. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals committed to patient care excellence. Key Responsibilities:

Perform and interpret cardiac imaging studies: echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, stress testing, cardiac MRI, cardiac CT, and nuclear cardiology. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for diagnosis and treatment planning of complex cardiovascular conditions. Teach and mentor cardiology fellows, residents, and medical students through clinical instruction, case-based learning, and lectures. Participate in clinical research, leading or collaborating on studies focused on cardiac imaging and cardiovascular care. Contribute to departmental initiatives, including quality improvement, imaging protocols, and clinical innovation. Engage in outreach and collaborative activities with referring physicians to promote advanced cardiac imaging. Participate in the cardiology division's call schedule, providing imaging consultation and interpretation. Qualifications:

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school. Board Certification in Cardiovascular Disease. Licensed to practice Medicine in Louisiana before hire date. Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program. Completion of an accredited Cardiology fellowship program. Proficiency in multiple imaging modalities: echocardiography, cardiac MRI, cardiac CT, and nuclear cardiology. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in an academic and team-oriented environment. Commitment to patient-centered care, academic medicine, clinical excellence, teaching, and research. Preferred Qualifications:

Scholarly achievement, including peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations. Experience in medical education and mentoring, with interest in curriculum development or academic leadership. Experience or interest in clinical research on cardiac imaging, cardiovascular disease, or health outcomes. Benefits:
