Hospitalist, Clinician Educator - Division of Inpatient Pediatrics, LAC+USC The University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics at LAC+USC Medical Center is seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time faculty position as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics (Clinician educator tract) with the Division of Inpatient and Critical Care Pediatrics. The position involves integration into an existing service that provides in-house 24/7 care. Candidates must be board certified in pediatrics and hold a valid California medical license. Candidates with post-graduate inpatient care experience, a strong interest in teaching and working with students and residents, and a passion for serving underserved populations are preferred. The annual base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $180,000. When extending an offer of employment, USC considers factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, and external market considerations. Responsibilities
Provide in-house 24/7 inpatient pediatric care as part of the Division of Inpatient and Critical Care Pediatrics. Teach and supervise medical students and residents; contribute to educational programs. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care and ensure high-quality outcomes. Qualifications
Board certified in pediatrics. Valid California medical license. Post-graduate inpatient care experience and a demonstrated interest in teaching and serving underserved populations (preferred). Application
