Northwestern Medicine DHI is seeking a BE/BC, fellowship-trained Gastroenterologist to join our team at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, with outpatient clinical activity at a downtown satellite location (Old Irving Park – 4445 W. Irving Park Road). Our board-certified physicians evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of digestive disorders using advanced diagnostic and endoscopic techniques.
The general gastroenterology position involves sharing inpatient service at NMH and providing outpatient care in the clinic and endoscopy settings. An ideal candidate should be competent in basic upper and lower endoscopy, enteral access (PEG placement), management of GI emergencies such as GI bleeding, food impactions, and volvulus.
