The role involves ensuring students meet program outcomes and competencies aligned with ARC-AA standards, under the guidance of the Program Director. This remote position offers up to 28 hours per week with benefits. Key Responsibilities: Deliver lectures and instruction in clinical and professional expertise areas. Teach Senior Seminar and Anesthesia Review Courses. Provide academic advising and remediation support. Assist in curriculum development, evaluation, and improvement. Assess student performance and create examinations aligned with accreditation standards. Participate in accreditation activities, program evaluation, and advisory meetings. Contribute to student recruitment and selection, including participating in interviews. Engage in service, scholarly activities, and faculty development. Support clinical site development and monitoring. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Program Director or Dean. Job Requirements: Terminal degree as an Anesthesiologist Assistant, current NCCAA certification, and eligibility for state licensure. Preferred: 3 years clinical experience and teaching experience in AA/medical education. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and self-motivation skills. Must be able to travel up to 10% and work collaboratively. Ability to interpret accreditation criteria and regulations, resolve inquiries, and manage multiple priorities. Work Environment: This is a remote position requiring professional communication, media handling, and occasional travel.
