Overview

The Westchester Medical Center Health Network Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is recruiting an Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to join our academic practice. The successful applicant will be based at Westchester Medical Center with a medical office located in Poughkeepsie, NY, adjacent to the Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital inpatient and outpatient facility. The hospital is located in a suburban setting, 75 minutes north of New York City, and serves as a Level 2 trauma center. Responsibilities

Provide hand and upper-extremity orthopedic care and general orthopaedic surgery; participate in community trauma coverage. The candidate will join a service that supports orthopaedic residency and fellowship training programs. Qualifications

Skills in hand and upper-extremity surgery, general orthopaedic surgery, and community trauma. Minimum 1-3 years experience and excellent clinical, communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Board certified or board eligible by the ABOS; eligible for an academic appointment at New York Medical College. Employment details
