Exciting General Diagnostic Radiologist Opportunity at WVU Medicine – Join a Growing Academic Practice!
The Department of Diagnostic Radiology at West Virginia University School of Medicine is seeking well-rounded, diagnostic radiologists (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank) to join our rapidly expanding academic imaging team. The academic practice has a long-standing, collegial relationship with the nearby Veterans Administration hospital and the primary responsibility of the successful applicant will be to provide diagnostic imaging coverage for this site.

No call, evenings, or weekends required! 5-day clinical work week (M-F 8 AM to 4:30 PM). Leadership opportunities in a growing academic department with a rapidly expanding community radiology coverage. Highly competitive compensation and benefits package. J-1 visa waiver sponsorship offered for eligible candidates. Active involvement in the diagnostic radiology residency program by teaching residents and medical students.
Practice Highlights
Engaging community radiology work with diverse and academically stimulating case mix. Reasonable daily imaging volumes of 80-120 total cases (25-40 CTs/MRIs). Work with a dedicated team of fellowship-trained radiologists, nurses, and specialized technologists to provide integrated, patient-centered care. No IR procedures or mammography required for this opportunity.
