Overview Join the Excitement! VetMED in Phoenix, AZ is expanding with a brand-new Medical Oncology service — join our growing specialty team. VetMED is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Medical Oncologist to join our specialty and emergency veterinary hospital. This is a great opportunity for a motivated candidate to build a strong and supported service within an established specialty and emergency setting.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement medical oncology service within a multidisciplinary hospital setting and collaborate with on-site Radiology, Surgery, Anesthesiology, Dermatology, and a 24/7 Emergency team.

Provide high-quality medical oncology care, contribute to patient management, and support a strong caseload from day one.

Qualifications

Board-certified or residency-trained Medical Oncologist (ACVIM, ECVIM or equivalent).

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to care.

Facilities and Support

Spacious work area and trained technicians.

On-site CT and MRI; dedicated chemotherapy preparation and administration room; dedicated oncology treatment area for a quieter patient environment.

On-site Sonoscape S9 ultrasound capabilities (ultrasound capabilities not required).

Support from a full medical team and a strong 24/7 Emergency service led by a residency-trained Criticalist.
