We are seeking a skilled
Couchbase DBA
to manage, monitor, and optimize our Couchbase NoSQL database infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Couchbase Server in production environments, ensuring database performance, availability, scalability, and security. Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and upgrade Couchbase Server clusters. Monitor system performance and proactively optimize queries, indexes, and storage. Design, implement, and manage data replication, cross datacenter replication (XDCR), and high availability. Plan and execute cluster scaling, failover strategies, and disaster recovery. Set up and maintain backup and restore processes using Couchbase tools or third-party solutions. Collaborate with application developers and DevOps engineers to optimize data models and integration pipelines. Automate routine database tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash). Analyze logs and metrics to troubleshoot performance and connectivity issues. Implement role-based access control (RBAC), auditing, and other security measures. Document database configurations, topologies, procedures, and best practices.
