Job Summary
The Operating Room Technician is a team member who functions in a support position, working collaboratively under the immediate direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Duties are directed toward the delivery of patient care services and may, within guidelines, be adapted to the needs of the individual units.
Salary and Benefits
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $43.30 - $54.05 (Hourly Rate).

Required Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited ORT program
One year of experience (When the unit is staffed with enough experienced surgical techs to support a recent graduate of a surgical tech program or internship, applicants without the requisite experience may be considered)
Preferred Qualifications
Certification CST
License/Certification
American Heart Association CPR/BLS
