Full-Time Women's Health Physician Assistant

to join our care center in

Sarasota, Florida . Join a compassionate team providing a collaborative approach to patient care. About the Practice

The practice includes 3 physicians and 1 Physician Assistant. Gulf Coast Obstetrics and Gynecology is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to women in the Sarasota/Manatee area. Services include gynecologic and obstetrical care, diagnostic ultrasound, urodynamic evaluations, in-office DEXA scans, and infertility treatments. Position Highlights

Perform patient exams, screenings, treatments, and record patient health history for OB & GYN patients. Round with physicians in the hospital. Assist in the Operating Room with C-sections and GYN surgeries. Perform office-based procedures such as Colposcopies, Endometrial biopsies, IUD insertions and removals. Prescribe medications, therapies; order/perform and interpret diagnostic tests. Provide pre- and post-natal care, family planning services, and patient education and counseling. Assist and work closely with physicians to provide patient care. No weekends or call. Patient volume: 15-22 patients per day. Compensation and Benefits

National Physician Assistant certification or ability to obtain. Unrestricted, active licensure in Florida or ability to obtain. Current unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain. CPR, BLS, and NALS certifications or ability to obtain. Proficient in assessment and treatment plan development. Excellent communication skills with patients, team members, and management. Ability to make autonomous care decisions based on best medical practices. One year of full-time Physician Assistant experience preferred. About Unified Women’s Healthcare
