Kelsey-Seybold Clinic is Houston's premier multispecialty group practice, founded in 1949. Kelsey-Seybold Clinic is actively recruiting an APC/APP to assist 9 physicians and 5 existing PAs in the Urology clinic. This APC/APP will work closely with a Fellowship-Trained FPMRS (Urogynecologist) in an outpatient clinical setting treating both general and female urologic conditions. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and will work as a team player, interact positively with ancillary staff, and be responsive to referring physicians while supporting the group practice philosophy. Qualified candidates must be available between Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with the flexibility to rotate to various satellite clinics from their home base site.
Responsibilities
Practice outpatient Urology with the flexibility of performing hospital-based responsibilities. Assist the physician in evaluation and management of clinic patients, including histories and physical examinations on new patients; autonomously provide ongoing care for assigned patients; participate in virtual health platforms, screen patients for further care or admission; perform in-office procedures; order diagnostic studies as needed.
Evaluation and management of operative patients, including pre-operative testing and counseling and post-operative care in the clinic.
Interest in learning office-based procedures (PTNS, Testopel, catheter changes, prostate biopsies, cystoscopy).
Pessary fitting and maintenance.
Maintain EPIC documentation guidelines per Clinic policy.
Weekly office hours of Monday–Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm.
Licensed by the Texas State Board of Physician Assistant Examiners.
Current in BCLS and ACLS.
Qualifications
Licensed by the Texas State Board of Physician Assistant Examiners.
Current BCLS and ACLS certification.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team in a multidisciplinary setting.
Flexibility to rotate to satellite clinics as needed.
