Job Description
Our client, a reputable healthcare organization, is hiring a highly skilled
Emergency Medicine Physician
to join their team. With a strong focus on delivering exceptional patient care, they are seeking a talented and motivated individual to fill a critical role.
Responsibilities
Provide immediate medical attention for patients presenting with acute illnesses or injuries in the emergency department (ER) Conduct thorough assessments, including physical examinations and diagnostic tests, to determine the appropriate course of treatment Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring optimal outcomes Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting all patient interactions and treatment protocols Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care strategies Stay current with advancements in emergency medicine practices and protocols Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) Completion of postgraduate medical training from a U.S. accredited residency program in Emergency Medicine Board Eligible/Board Certified in Emergency Medicine Current, unrestricted New York State license Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or eligibility for registration Active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or eligibility to enroll Excellent communication, bedside manners, and organizational skills Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and Microsoft Office Visa sponsorship may be considered for this position New grads are welcome to apply
