Topeka Women's Correctional Facility . Role Overview
The Medical Director provides clinical direction, oversees clinical services, and supervises medical staff under the supervision of the Statewide Medical Director. Collaborates with the Health Services Administrator to ensure efficient, clinically appropriate care, and participates in CQI, Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics committees. Qualifications
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Active, unrestricted Kansas MD/DO license or ability to obtain Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine Ability to obtain DEA registration with prescriptive authority Ability to pass credentialing, drug screening, and background checks Schedule & Benefits
