The department is expanding its pediatric services, including inpatient and outpatient care, and developing subspecialties. It has inpatient facilities at multiple hospitals and is involved in extensive research and education collaborations with Michigan State University and Wayne State University. The pediatric gastroenterology division aims to develop centers of excellence in areas like IBD, Nutrition, Hepatobiliary, and more, supported by robust adult GI and hepatology services. Position Responsibilities

Lead the development of pediatric gastroenterology services and centers of excellence. Provide clinical care in ambulatory and inpatient settings, including general GI procedures. Supervise and educate medical students and residents. Participate in research and academic activities within the department. Qualifications

M.D., Ph.D., D.O., or equivalent degree. Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology. Licensed by the Michigan Medical Board. Board certified or eligible in pediatric gastroenterology by the American Board of Pediatrics. Additional Information
