Role Overview and Offers As an Interventional Gastroenterologist (GI) with us, you will be able to perform ERCP. Details below apply to the Interventional GI position and the Gastroenterologist (GI) position.
Guaranteed base salary: $666,376 (does not include call or incentive pay)
Sign-on bonus: $56,048
Relocation assistance: $15,000
Student loan repayment: $30,000

Alternate GI position: base salary $610,542 plus incentive plan
Additional GI position details include:
EPIC electronic medical record for both IP and OP
Endoscopy charting tool used in the surgical center is Provation
Fuji brand scopes
2 procedure rooms
Based out of Holy Cross Hospital Jordan Valley; clinic on the same campus
Ability to create own schedule
On-call 7 days per month (any additional on-call time determined by the Gastroenterology team)

Standards and Ethics Our physicians provide services at or above the customary practice standards within their qualifications and experience, and adhere to the standards and principles of medical ethics of the American Medical Association and recognized accrediting boards for their specialty.
Qualifications In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
Must have successfully completed a residency or fellowship commensurate with area of specialty
Obtain and maintain an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
Board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty, by a board acceptable to Hospital
Obtain Medical Staff Privileges within the Health system at sponsoring institution
Doctorate MD or DO required
Current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in Utah required
Physical requirements: Medium work (exert up to 50 lbs occasionally, up to 20 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly).
