Overview

Opportunity: Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is seeking a BC/BE Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join an existing team of physicians to grow our Integrated Cardiovascular Service Line and strengthen our growing Quaternary care program. The ideal candidate would be an established physician with experience and interest in adult cardiac and thoracic surgery, minimally invasive robotic techniques, and knowledge of the arch. The ability to provide vascular services, TAVR and/or Endovascular services would be a plus. This position will also be open to current and recent Fellows. Responsibilities

Work within a scope that includes all aspects of Adult Cardiac Surgery, on- and off-pump CABG, Mitral Repair, an active TAVR program, arrhythmia surgery, and both endovascular and open aortic surgery including dissection repair. Perform a broad spectrum of thoracic surgical procedures, including minimally invasive lung resections, transhiatal esophagectomy, and complex anti-reflux procedures. Share practice, ER and hospital call responsibilities on a 1:4 schedule; collaborate with a team that includes 4 APRNs for support. Operate within a schedule of Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with a balance of clinic one day per week and four days in the OR, while managing in-patients daily. Qualifications

BC/BE Cardiothoracic Surgeon. Open to current and recent Fellows. Experience or interest in adult cardiac and thoracic surgery, minimally invasive robotic techniques, and arch work; ability to provide vascular, TAVR and/or Endovascular services is a plus. About TMH and Why Join
