Description Specialization: Otolaryngology Job Summary: HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is seeking an experienced otolaryngologist for our growing program. Qualified Candidates: Must be comfortable with traumatic ear, nose, and throat procedures, including but not limited to: Repair of external ears Assisting in complex facial trauma with ophthalmologists, neurosurgeons, and/or plastic surgeons Laryngotracheal injuries Adult only in the hospital setting Board eligibility or board certification required Preferred candidates will have relevant experience The incoming provider will focus mainly on trauma and emergent/acute ear, nose, and throat procedures, including: Hospital-based care Managing inpatient consults Rounding on patients Managing follow-up clinics Share the month with another dedicated otolaryngologist in an on/off schedule HCA Florida Ocala Hospital’s trauma program is the area’s only ACS-verified Level 1 trauma center servicing 5 counties and over 1 million residents. It is also a teaching hospital for the University of Central Florida and hosts the UCF/HCA residency consortium.
