Job Posting Title: Hospitalist Physician - Evenings Hospital Site: Bridgeport Hospital Milford Campus Location: 300 Seaside Avenue, Milford, CT 06460 Work Schedule: Evenings, 7 on 7 off Position Type: Full-Time EMR System: EPIC Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive inpatient care, manage admissions, and support continuity of care in collaboration with the daytime and overnight teams. Lead care coordination with interdisciplinary teams - nursing staff, consultants, case managers, and ancillary services - for optimal outcomes. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, evaluate outcomes, and help implement process improvements in inpatient medicine. Serve as a professional leader and role model, participating in hospital committees, promoting best practices, and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction. Education
D. or D.O., with completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency. Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Internal Medicine. Must secure a Connecticut medical license, Controlled Substance Registration, and DEA certification. Must obtain attending medical staff privileges at respective YNHHS entity. Experience
Two (2) years caring for medicine inpatients as resident and/or attending physician. Licensure
Hold a valid Connecticut medical license Connecticut Controlled Substance Registration Federal Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certification Additional Information
