Locum Tenens Neurosurgeon Needed in Northern Michigan A well-established hospital in Northern Michigan is seeking a
Board-Certified Neurosurgeon
for a long-term locum tenens assignment. This is a hospital-based position focused on providing
24-hour call coverage for 14 days per month , including daily rounding and patient admits. The ideal candidate is a skilled and experienced professional who can perform both
spinal and cranial
procedures. Role & Responsibilities: Provide 24-hour on-call coverage for 14 days per month. Perform emergent and scheduled surgeries. Conduct daily inpatient rounding. Manage a daily caseload of 5-10 inpatients. Utilize Cerner EMR for all patient documentation. What We Offer: A collaborative work environment alongside one neurosurgeon, one ortho-spinal surgeon, and a team of neurosurgery APPs. On-site imaging, lab, procedure rooms, and OR.
