Fairbanks Memorial Hospital is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist to join our highly experienced team.
The Opportunity:
Join us as an anesthesia physician at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital (FMH), where you will play a key role in shaping healthcare in Interior Alaska. Our model primarily involves CRNAs managing cases under physician guidance, fostering a collaborative environment that allows your participation across various specialties. This setup ensures high-quality patient care and offers opportunities to expand your skills in a stimulating setting. FMH is a 152-bed sole community hospital, serving as a vital healthcare resource in Interior Alaska. The role mainly involves bread-and-butter cases, excluding hearts and heads, and caring for healthy pediatric patients.
Compensation:
$660K base salary for 200 shifts/year, plus $30K annual practice development bonus, $10K annual provider incentive pay, averaging
$700K/year . A $65K sign-on bonus is also offered. Patients:
4-5 ORs daily, with additional out-of-OR locations including OB, GI scopes, catheterization lab, and imaging as needed. Team:
5 full-time Anesthesiologists and up to 12 CRNAs. Schedule:
3 weeks on, 2 weeks off, totaling 21 weeks off annually. Shift trading is available.
