Overview
Ochsner Health in New Orleans is seeking BC/BE Critical Care Physicians to join our team of 4 Critical Care Anesthesiologists. Preference for dual BC/BE in Anesthesiology, but all training backgrounds will be considered. At Ochsner, you will make a difference for patients and support staff who care for them. Practice approximately 25% of clinical time in Critical Care Medicine. Maintain a balanced mixed operative practice. Work in the Ochsner Surgical ICU (34 beds) with an interprofessional care model. Care for a spectrum of cardiovascular surgical disciplines including Cardiothoracic Surgery, Mechanical Circulatory Support (ECMO, LVAD, IABP, etc.), and Vascular Surgery. Contribute to a high-acuity, complex patient population; the Surgical ICU has a top-level surgical case mix index. Qualifications
Board-certified or board-eligible in Critical Care Medicine (BC/BE CCM). Preference for dual BC/BE in Anesthesiology; all training backgrounds will be considered. Strong interest in academics and research; experience with teaching programs is valued. Teaching and research affiliations with an accredited Anesthesiology residency and fellowship programs (Adult Cardiac Anesthesia, Pulmonary Critical Care, Neurocritical Care) are noted.
