Private, specialized surgical practice is seeking an experienced, full-time BC/BE Neurosurgeon (Pittsburgh native and University of Pittsburgh Neurosurgery trained) or Orthopedic Spine Surgeon to join their team in the Pittsburgh, PA area.
Highlights: Practice provides a full range of spine care, with a bias towards minimally invasive, motion-preserving, ambulatory surgery. Group has 3 offices surrounding the greater Pittsburgh area, and ownership of 2 Ambulatory Surgery Centers. Practice also has a presence at a privately-owned orthopedic specialty hospital, and a full-service university-affiliated hospital where more complex spinal procedures, including navigation, are performed. Candidate will provide exclusive support to the spine service at a newly affiliated suburban hospital. The candidate will benefit from long-established referral patterns, presence in several Pittsburgh suburbs, and strong relationships with the independent medical community, including multiple pain management, orthopedic, and neurology groups. Spinal conditions treated include herniated discs, degenerative disc disease, facet joint arthritis, and spinal stenosis. Our team specializes in minimally invasive spinal surgery, offering treatments such as artificial disc replacement, microdiscectomy, spinal decompression, and spinal fusion. We also provide comprehensive pain management services and consulting for independent medical examinations, medico-legal counseling, and product development.
