The practice is situated in the same building as its endoscopy suite. It specializes in diagnosing and treating all facets of gastroenterology, including motility, IBD, hepatology, and advanced endoscopy such as POEM and endo-bariatrics. Both general GI and advanced endoscopy positions are available. Faculty appointments at Albany Medical Center may also be offered to interested candidates. This role offers a competitive salary for new hires and an early partnership track. The physician will have the opportunity to buy into ownership and equity of the surgical center. Both recent graduates and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply. The position involves outpatient work with only 3–4 weekends of call per year. Hospital coverage is required. Candidates trained in general or advanced endoscopy are welcome.
