Baptist Health Medical Center – North Little Rock (BHMC-NLR) is seeking a BE/BC psychiatrist to join the Baptist Health-UAMS Graduate Medical Education Program and provide care in our new Inpatient Psychiatric Unit.
BHMC-NLR is a 225-bed facility, and this new unit will have 22 beds with two psychiatry teaching teams. This exciting opportunity offers the perks of private practice, such as setup, and the chance to serve as core faculty in a brand-new residency program. The position involves inpatient management, supervision of psychiatry residents, participation in faculty development, and teaching resident didactics. It is an employed position with Arkansas Health Group (AHG), a subsidiary of Baptist Health, providing competitive salaries, benefit packages, and medical malpractice insurance. The opportunity may qualify for a J-1 visa waiver. All physicians must obtain Arkansas licensure before practicing.

Monday - Friday schedule with one weekend coverage per month
Patient care caseload in the Psychiatric Adult inpatient program
