$250,000.00/yr - $275,000.00/yr A healthcare organization in New York City is looking to add a licensed Psychiatrist to their growing Inpatient team in Brooklyn. About the Opportunity:
Schedule:
Monday to Friday Hours:
8:30am to 4:30pm Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments to evaluate the mental and emotional status of adult patients Diagnose mental health conditions and disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, anxiety disorders, and substance use disorders Develop individualized treatment plans for each patient Prescribe and manage medications to help stabilize and improve the mental health of their patients Manage psychiatric crises and emergencies Prepare patients for discharge from the hospital by developing aftercare plans Educate patients and their families about the nature of the mental health condition, treatment options, and strategies for managing symptoms and preventing relapse Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient assessments, treatment plans, progress, and any changes in medications or interventions Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications:
