Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH) is fulfilling our vision of transforming healthcare by expanding our team. We have an opportunity for a full-time Non-Invasive
Cardiologist
at our St. Joseph Medical Center location in Tacoma, Washington. This
Cardiologist
will be part of the
Franciscan Medical Group , a multi-specialty practice serving the greater Puget Sound region of Washington State.
Opportunity Highlights: Center for Cardiovascular Health: The Center for Cardiovascular Health at VMFH includes over 150 providers, such as interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, advanced heart failure specialists, cardiac imaging specialists, vascular surgeons, thoracic surgeons, cardiac surgeons, and anesthesiologists. Our programs are nationally recognized for quality and outcomes. We perform over 1100 open heart surgeries, 2400 PCIs, and 2000 ablations annually. We care for over 200,000 patients in our cardiology clinics each year and provide inpatient services across a healthcare system with over 1500 beds and 8 hospitals in the Greater Seattle Area.

Qualifications:
BC/BE; American Board of Cardiology
Ability to obtain a medical professional license in Washington State
Ability to obtain a DEA license with full prescriptive authority for the practice
BLS certification required
