Overview
Dartmouth Health (DH) is seeking a BC/BE Urologist who will be based at both
Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) , our academic medical center in Lebanon, NH, and
Valley Regional Hospital (VRH) , a critical access hospital in Claremont, NH, located in the scenic, rural Upper Valley of New Hampshire. The successful candidate will lead our efforts to extend and build our community Urology outreach program to Valley Regional Hospital and the greater Claremont area.
Responsibilities
Lead our community Urology outreach program to Valley Regional Hospital and the greater Claremont area.
Collaborate with primary care providers and our community specialists.
Support our plan to recruit two faculty: one focused on general urology and the other in Urological Reconstruction and Pelvic Surgery.
Develop a robotic surgery program at Valley Regional Hospital.
Be actively involved in medical student and resident education; engage in academic and didactic opportunities at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
Demonstrate excellence in communication and professionalism.
Qualifications and Academic Opportunities
MD, DO, or equivalent degree.
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Urology. Candidates must have completed or will soon complete training in Urology in an ACGME-accredited residency.
Must obtain and maintain a medical license in the state of New Hampshire.
Academic appointment commensurate with experience will be awarded by the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth; engagement in academic and didactic opportunities at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center is encouraged.

About Valley Regional Hospital Valley Regional Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital serving the Greater Claremont community. It offers emergency and urgent care services, primary care, comprehensive rehabilitation services, and a variety of specialty services, including general surgery, infusion therapies, and oncology.
