Non-Invasive Cardiologist in the Finger Lakes Region
We are seeking a full-time, non-invasive Cardiologist to join our dynamic team at two leading hospitals in the picturesque Finger Lakes region of New York. This position offers a blend of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, with a focus on providing top-notch cardiovascular care. Salary:
$500,000.00 - $550,000.00 per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive cardiac care to adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Perform daily consultations and cardiac procedures including Echo, Nuc, TEE, and Cardioversions. Participate in a call rotation of 1 in 9, ensuring coverage for acute cardiac events within a 30-mile radius. Conduct rounds at primary hospital and a second regional hospital. Maintain a consistent work schedule of 8 AM to 4:30 PM, 4.5 days per week. Engage in ongoing patient assessments and care planning in collaboration with a team of Cardiologists and healthcare professionals. Work collaboratively with hospital administration to enhance patient care protocols and cardiovascular services. Minimum Position Qualifications: Board-eligible or Certified in Cardiovascular Disease. Valid medical license. Prior experience in a hospital setting handling a blend of inpatient and outpatient care. Proficiency in performing Echo, Nuc, TEE, and Cardioversion procedures. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Able to participate in on-call responsibilities with a set radius. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a regional hospital setting. Demonstrated leadership in clinical settings. Prior experience in managing a varied caseload effectively balancing inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. Skills: Strong clinical skills in non-invasive cardiology. Ability to adapt to new technology and procedures quickly. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
